Arrows Are Our Specialty
All our arrows are hand-crafted by Suzanne St. Charles. Suzanne first learned to make arrows when she was eleven from her sister Linda and Aunt Rose, and under the careful scrutiny of her dad, Glenn. Let's just say that was over 35 years ago.

We match our arrows to archer and bow. An easy thing to do with a few questions asked.

Starting with Sitka Spruce or Port Orford Cedar shafts, they are all spined, assembled and embellished in our arrow shop to your specifications.

New this year. We are proud to say that we have added Sitka Spruce from the Hildebrand Family in Pt. Angeles, Washington to our inventory of shafts and arrows.

We stock a full range of supplies for arrow crafting, including wood and aluminum shafts, feathers, nocks, points, and adhesives.

    Choose Your Correct Arrow Spine

This chart is intended as a good "rule of thumb" guide to choose correctly-spined wood shafts for recurves. For longbows, go up one box on the chart (subtract 5 pounds from your bow weight). This is because an arrow has to go around the bow more on a longbow, as the arrow rest is not usually cut as far to the center as a recurve is. The arrow has to flex more. This is called "archer's paradox." A selfbow would shoot even a lesser spine. In most situations this chart is a very effective aid in determining spine, although arrow spine has never been an exact science. The factors of point weight and bow string material also have an effect on arrow spine. When you call to order arrows, if you do not know the correct spine, we can help you determine it in no time by asking you a few questions about your tackle.
